“Peter was above all fun to work with. Apart from his serious, hardworking, focused, go-for-it, persevering side, I know him as an honest, social, easy-to-get-on-with guy. Strict but fair, and realistic enough to change course if that’s what’s called for. Someone you can build on.”
- Wil van Dommelen
Projectmanager, Noldus Information Technology
Peter Bodifee is the president of Bodifee Consulting Group Inc., a firm specializing in helping you improve your organisations’ results by effectively leveraging technology and creating blueprints of success.
Peter has been a consultant since 2005 and a former software developer, data center manager, network specialist, system engineer, and IT architect. He has worked for and with profit and non-profit organizations such as BCLC, ESA, Bosch, General Electric Plastic, Ericsson, Fluke, EMC, Ernst & Young, Essent, KPMG, and KLM Airlines, as well as medium-sized organizations such as Amarantis Education Group.
In the past 25 years, his openness to new challenges led him to work on projects in eight countries with people from 15 countries. He has lived in five different countries on three continents, which has given him a taste of the multicultural and truly global workplace. As a result, he now has a command of three languages: English, German, and Dutch. He has worked on both the demand and the supply side of the table. He can relate to business-to-business issues in the IT domain.
Peter’s passion and desire to share insights into the core of complex technology and associated processes has attracted many people in the workplace. This typically creates a spontaneous exchange of information and methods on how to achieve the end result. He is also loved for his sense of humor in dealing with difficult and unpleasant tasks in the IT field, where people often get no credit for hard work.
Peter’s sailing activities, both racing and cruising, have brought him to many more places in the world. He has discovered that all humans share the universal desire to be happy. The experience he has gained in critical conditions and heavy weather has made a great impact on how he leads others to achieve their goals.
Peter holds an Engineering Degree in Informatics from “de Maere” (now Saxion University) in the Netherlands and is a registered European Professional Engineer (EUR ING). He currently lives with his wife, Masha, and two sons in downtown Vancouver, BC, a central location for his global activities.
